By the Fire

There’s something about sitting by a fire.

The flames, the embers… the way your attention settles without effort.

It feels familiar.

Like something we’ve drifted away from.

In this session, we spend time creating fire, sitting with it, and allowing the experience to unfold naturally.

There may be different ways of making fire, simple food or hot drinks, and quiet moments around the fire — but nothing is forced or over-explained.

It’s not about learning.

It’s about being there.

What this offers:

  • a deeper connection to something simple and human

  • a chance to slow down and focus your attention

  • a shared experience centred around fire

  • space for quiet reflection without pressure

What to expect:

  • small group (3–6 people)

  • creating and building a fire together

  • time spent sitting, observing, and settling

  • simple food or hot drinks

  • a calm, unhurried environment

  • the experience is lightly guided, with simple prompts and moments of reflection, while leaving space for the fire and the environment to do most of the work
